This traveling exhibition examines the realities of women’s lives—caught between responsibility and disenfranchisement—and how they shaped society despite these limitations, both during the revolution and beyond. For Offenburg, the exhibition has been expanded to include female figures who participated in the revolution right here in the city.
We are presenting the exhibition in cooperation with Forum 1848 at the March Martyrs’ Cemetery in Berlin and with the Memorial Site for the Freedom Movements in German History in Rastatt.
