Experience a journey into the prehistoric past at the Rehmann Museum. The immersive performance installation "Énergies Fossiles" explores the hidden energy and traces of life in fossils and rocks.
Artist and musician Pauline Marx and an international team - including Karola Kaufmann, Maëtte Lannuzel, Vica Pacheco, Tatiana Karl Pez, Frauke Roloff and Nika Schudel - have created a multi-sensory Gesamtkunstwerk. The project builds a bridge between art and science by using regional materials from the Jurapark Aargau such as Frick soil, fossils and copper.
A chthonic, subterranean world is brought to life with handmade light, scent, sound and textile sculptures. Feel the history of the earth, smell the aromas of primeval plants and listen to the echo of mineral time.
"Énergies Fossiles" invites you to rediscover the history of the earth with all your senses.
