A journey of discovery to the modern Acropolis in Aargau
A "Gesamtkunstwerk" is to be expected everywhere, but in a logistics center in Suhr of all places, and then inspired by the noble Acropolis in Athens?

Probably not in the Suhr distribution center in Aargau.

That's exactly where we're going, among trucks, shopping baskets and hustle and bustle:
That's where we're headed on Wednesday, April 8.

We are setting off to visit one of Erwin Rehmann's most impressive projects. In the mid-1980s, Rehmann was commissioned to give the cool Migros administration center a soul.
His response was bold.
He did not create mere decoration, but a "place of strength" for the people who work there every day.
The result is an ensemble of 30 tons of bronze that unites architecture, nature and bubbling water. When you stand in front of the monumental water staircase or see how the golden-yellow brass sculpture glows in the light, you almost forget that you are on an industrial site. It is as if Rehmann has built a piece of eternity into everyday life.

We are particularly pleased that our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Rudolf Lüscher, is accompanying the journey and telling us the stories behind this adventure - because it took a great deal of idealism and trust back then to make this vision a reality.
