Hologram
The hidden allows Mo Diener absolute visibility. As an artist, activist and researcher, she often acted as part of a group and refrained from solo exhibitions. Looking back, archivally at her own work and archaeologically on site, now allows a new form of presence. Mo Diener is showing videos, video installations, drawings, objects and photographs from four decades at the Rehmann Museum. In this exhibition of works characterized by speculative narratives and dreams, she enters into a dialogue with an archaeologist who reveals the profound history of the ground beneath the museum and its surroundings. Using holograms, figures and narratives become visible in spatially animated installations and appear vividly before us.
