The two museum buildings MAC1 and MAC2 are places where exceptional art, unique automobiles and unique architecture work together and interact with each other.
The buildings, works of art in themselves, attract architects from all over the world time and again. In the museum, vintage cars, luxury car bodies from the 1920s and 1930s, racing cars and formula cars are presented in temporary exhibitions over a total area of 4,000 m2. The focus is on design history and technology. In addition, art worth seeing, e.g. classical modernism or pop art, is shown in an imaginative and experimental way. A highlight is the light and video art in the 18-metre-high light dome in MAC2, which is particularly fascinating for children.
