- Ice Age art of Europe
Artistic forms of expression are part of the development of cultures. The first animal and human figures were created throughout Europe up to 42,000 years ago.
For the exhibition, some Palaeolithic objects have been recreated from original materials such as mammoth ivory. Touching is expressly permitted here.
The project of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Weltkultursprung and the University of Tübingen complements the top-class originals in Freiburg.
