Fixed roles since time immemorial?
"Men are originally hunters, women are gatherers" - this idea is still the basis of current gender clichés. But did this prehistoric "dream couple" - he the breadwinner, she the housewife and mother - really exist? Participants will learn from director Helena Pastor what answers archaeological gender research has developed to this question and discover that prehistoric gender roles were probably far more diverse than many believe.
