The Museum of History is located in the former barracks of the castle. Several comprehensive collections showcase different eras in the history of Belfort and its surroundings. Hundreds of military artefacts, among them a significant collection of weapons, hats and uniforms as well as detailed information about religion, cooking, toys and traditional dresses highlight the different aspects of the town from the Stone Age up to the 20th century.
