Raise your cups!

In the beginning was the cup: it has accompanied us since the emergence of the first civilizations and is a witness to cultural change with all its changing table and eating habits. Cups therefore form a common thread through cultural history and give rise to many exciting stories from the heart of society. In this respect, all the social and art-historical phenomena from the Bronze Age to the present day are reflected in cups. The exhibition illustrates this development not only with interesting objects, but also with objects that are well worth seeing.
