Large hands-on exhibition THE LITTLE WITCH

On your brooms, get set, go! A famous and lovable guest can be found in Stuttgart's Old Palace - the children's book character "The Little Witch". Today, the adventures of the little witch have been translated into more than 50 languages and are a classic staple of bookstores. On the occasion of Otfried Preußler's 100th birthday, the Children's Museum Junges Schloss, in cooperation with the Stuttgart-based Thienemann-Esslinger publishing house, the publisher of the Preußler books, invites everyone to immerse themselves in the story - whether children and their families, the young at heart or those reminiscing about their childhood. As always, there will be plenty of opportunities to participate: visitors will practice casting spells and flying brooms with the little witch, defend themselves against injustice, and take the witchcraft test on Walpurgis Night on Blocksberg. After all, the little witch wants to become a good witch. Will it work?
In addition to the little witch, the exhibition is also devoted to Preußler's complete works. Some originals from the Preußler family enable visitors to discover the author as a personality. The exhibition is accompanied by a varied program.
