Insights into the Roman burial monuments
What do Roman grave inscriptions tell us about the people who lived in what is now Baden-Württemberg 2000 years ago? The lecture by Giuseppe Santangelo (Archaeological State Museum Baden-Württemberg) introduces us to the world of these stone testimonies, traces their development over time and opens a window on topics such as family, profession and self-perceived identity in the Roman northwest.

The lecture marks the start of this year's series of events on archaeology in cooperation with the Central Archives of the Baden-Württemberg State Archaeological Museum and the Rastatt City Museum.

Attendance is free of charge and registration is not necessary. The lecture will take place in the atrium of the Rossi House.
