As part of its exhibition "Fix it! The Happiness of Repairing", Museum.BL is offering a unique course: "Visible Mending" - repairing and embellishing with needle and thread.
In this workshop, we will transform and personalize old items of clothing in simple steps and breathe new life into them. For example, how about embroidering the inner lining of your jacket, patching the hole in your favorite pants aesthetically or writing a statement on a sweater with thread?

Visible mending not only offers the opportunity to be creative with your own wardrobe, but also to save resources. In this workshop, you will learn simple embroidery stitches to patch holes in your favorite clothes with colorful threads and eye-catching patches, spice them up or highlight stains.
