Music for mezzo-soprano, oboe, clarinet, strings, and percussion, performed by the MEMORIA TENERE ensemble. Music and direction by Radoslaw Pallarz.

Jewelry and its multifaceted connections to power, identity, and status form the centerpiece of this concert at the Old Palace, complementing the major special exhibition at the Württemberg State Museum, “Ornament & Symbol: What Adorns Men.” Following a resonant opening in the Dürnitz museum foyer, the audience will set out in small groups on a tour through five selected stations within the State Museum. Each station unfolds as its own sound world, staged in the style of chamber music.

The music of the Memoria Tenere ensemble blends with the stories of the Celts, the Alemanni, and the Dukes of Württemberg. It intertwines with the intricate mechanics of the historical clock collection and the radiant splendor of the Württemberg royal crown—a sensory interplay of sound, history, and space.
