Lecture
What was the situation in France when its troops marched into Offenburg on April 15, 1945? In what state did the German occupiers leave the country socially, politically and economically? What lessons can be learned from the Second World War from a French perspective today?
These questions will be addressed in a lecture by French historian Olivier Wieviorka. The historian specializes in the 20th century, in particular the history of the Second World War.
