Frick-Mühle theater project: Minna Frick - a life for the mill

Gruppenbild Mühlentheater
This event is available in
German
In the midst of the visitors, the Frick Mill theater group turns the entire mill into one big stage. From the very first moment, the theater group takes visitors back to real life in the mill on Sunday, September 25, 1892.
At the time, the authorities were watching all suspicious activities in the town with great suspicion.
The mill, and with it Minna Frick, the miller's wife, were also targeted by the authorities. Her opponents try to make life difficult for her with rumors and all kinds of intrigues.
Soon, however, an even greater enemy begins to threaten the mill's existence. Large industrial mills with new technologies are mercilessly driving the old artisan mills to ruin.
Can there still be room for a love story in such a dramatic situation? Love does not have it easy in these times. Is its power stronger than morals and economic constraints? Perhaps, but only if ...
The end of the story is as surprising as the whole plot. This is a good occasion for the audience and participants to celebrate together - with wine and bread, of course, but not only.

The play is suitable for visitors of all ages from 12 years upwards.
All this is included in the ticket price of 12 euros (admission free up to 16 years). The mill and all participants are happy to receive small and large donations.
Advance ticket sales from 1.9.2025 at Buchhandlung Beidek in Müllheim
