Cultural break: The November pogroms - November 10, 1938 in the Salmen on November 13, 12:30 p.m.

Der Salmen: Ausstellung über das jüdische Leben
This event is available in
German
The persecution and destruction of Jewish life came to a head once again during the November pogroms of 1938. The supporters of the National Socialist regime destroyed synagogues, desecrated Jewish cultural assets and murdered people of the Jewish faith.
In Offenburg, too, National Socialists raged and terrorized their fellow human beings in an inhumane manner.
What exactly happened in the early hours of November 10? What did the Jews of Offenburg experience on that day and beyond? This short tour provides the answers!
