Cultural break: Together against forgetting - the memorial book in the Salmen

Das Gedenkbuch im Salmen
This event is available in
German
Around 300 Jewish Offenburg residents were victims of Nazi persecution and violence between 1933 and 1945. We remember these people in the Salmen. The "Memorial Book in the Salmen" project has been documenting their lives and telling their stories since 2005. Every year, schoolchildren volunteer to research and investigate further biographies, add to the book and thus keep the memory of our Jewish fellow citizens alive.

Kulturpause presents the "Memorial Book in the Salmen" project and other ways of actively shaping remembrance work.

The cultural break is a free impulse for the lunch break.
