Exhibition "Prehistoric Forms. Ice Age Art of Europe"
Freezing cold and unique art - do they go together? Archaeology says: Yes! Cave paintings and three-dimensional representations of humans and animals tell of the artistic expressiveness of the first modern humans in Europe. 23 replicas of the most famous Ice Age figures and flutes of the Swabian Alb as well as unique originals from the hunting site at Petersfels near Engen offer insights into the shared values of our ancestors with all the senses.
