This photographic assignment has its origins in a fictional documentary approach. In fact, this work takes a poetic look at the problems of regional development and the snow economy in mountain areas: disappearance, mutation, architectural, human, landscape and economic adaptation.
It highlights a region that is undergoing a major change: global warming.
Ski resorts are in danger of disappearing from their original activities. It's an artistic, aesthetic and, above all, poetic look at a material - snow - that has shaped a territory in terms of landscape and people. These works take the form of testimonies to create a different relationship with reality.
Each trace, each sign, seemingly insignificant, can reveal itself, through the works produced, as the starting point of a fiction in the making.
This exhibition is a vision, a kind of collective object, a singular place where images meet, rub up against each other, confront each other. These images may be photographic, documentary, experimental or conceptual.
