From the assassination of the politician Matthias Erzberger in 1921 to the right-wing extremist violence of the 1990s and current coup plans from Reichsbürger circles: Right-wing extremist terror is not a marginal phenomenon of the past. It still threatens human lives and our democracy today. The special exhibition at the Hotel Silber memorial site shows selected cases from the Weimar Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany and poses key questions: Are these individual cases or are the acts connected? Who is right-wing extremist terror aimed at? Have forms of right-wing extremist violence changed? In addition to the acts of terror itself, the exhibition also shows the perspectives of those affected, social reactions and the legal process. Interactive stations invite visitors to reflect on their own contribution to combating right-wing extremism.
