The exhibition on Reiner Michelfelder is about an unknown piece of photographic history. As early as 1948, the well-known photographer Peter Keetman developed the first pendulum pictures for which luminous pendulums were converted into light oscillations. What hardly anyone knows is that between 1950 and 1953, Peter Keetman worked together with the graphic designer Reiner Michelfelder in his Munich agency "werbeform" in a free and mutually stimulating way. The pendulum pictures not only attracted attention in photographic circles, they were also recognized as a new form of advertising. The graphic designer Reiner Michelfelder, who later lived in Kornwestheim, remained true to experimental photography and also developed large-format murals with motifs from his "ars dynografia" until the 1970s.
