For Johann Peter Hebel, home was not an idealized place, but a lived context of landscape, language, everyday life and memory. Following on from this, this hands-on exhibition explores the concept of home in the Wiesental today. What is home: friends, family, the place where you grew up? The club, the neighbors? Security, childhood memories, nature? Everyone is invited to contribute their personal view: in photos, drawings, paintings or objects. Home is polyphonic, contradictory and changing. This participatory exhibition is curated by the Förderverein Stadtmuseum Schopfheim.
