Coffee makers, music boxes, wallpaper... Plant motifs are invading our everyday objects and are on show at the Musée Beurnier-Rossel.
This aesthetically pleasing presentation brings together the decorative arts collections of the industrial jewels of the Montbéliard region, with a focus on flowers and foliage. Starting with the flower observed in its environment, we examine its adaptation to manufactured models, and take a fresh look at the many techniques used to produce multiple objects in the early 20th century. It's an opportunity to see how flowers found their way into Montbéliard interiors between 1900 and 1950!
