A hands-on medieval exhibition
In an extensive exhibition, the Ettlingen Museum shows what life around Ettlingen Castle might have been like in the period between 1200 and 1350.

Twenty hands-on stations encourage visitors of all ages to get active and immerse themselves in medieval castle life. They can tinker, guess, play, try things on and try them out. Touching is expressly permitted.

Prejudices are also dispelled: the Middle Ages were not dark, but just as complex and colorful as "life in the castle" in Ettlingen.
