Lara Eckert, Beate Köhne, Susanne Maurer: Painting
Exhibition of the Kunstverein Hochrhein e.V.
Vernissage on Sunday, April 28, 2024, 11 a.m.
Lara Eckert, who lives in Dachsberg, paints portraits or sections of portraits, the play of light and shadow on faces that radiate a special calm. The colorful "foliage" created by Berlin-based Beate Köhne speaks to the viewer with an intense emotionality; "Here comes the sun" is the self-explanatory title of one of her works. Also from Berlin is Susanne Maurer, who paints multi-colored, delicate landscapes, landscapes that could exist like this or are just inner landscapes.
