The inclusive art project 'Inspiration' has been taking place at the Dreiländermuseum every year since 2013. Now for the 12th - and last time in this form - people with disabilities from Germany, France and Switzerland engage with works of art from the Lörrach museum collection. The originals become sources of inspiration for them to become artistically active themselves. Inspiration 12 is dedicated to the animal world: fabulous, mythical, tame or wild, exotic or domestic. A dozen paintings have been selected to inspire the participants. The resulting exhibition creates a lively dialog between the works from the collection, the new creations, the creatives and the viewers.
To mark the end of the series, issue 12 is now also moving from the Hebelsaal to the large special exhibition area of the Dreiländermuseum on the second floor, where more works will be presented in a more spacious setting. The large special exhibition will be accompanied by an attractive supporting program.
