The Museum für Neue Kunst is continuing its Friendship Game exhibition series, in which the museum's own collection is put into dialog with another collection.
This time, the cooperation partner comes from France: the Musée international d'art naïf Anatole Jakovsky. It was opened in 1982. The art critic of the same name and his wife Renée had previously donated their internationally oriented collection of works of naïve art and art brut to the city of Nice. Jakovsky had already published on naïve art at the end of the 1940s, and his writings and encyclopaedias are still important references today.
