The new special exhibition sheds light on the city's history from the Middle Ages to the present day under the theme of "Crime".
A wide range of objects from Lahr and the surrounding area, some of which are rarely on display, are presented, from executioner's utensils and weapons from the Thirty Years' War to sketches and police uniforms.
"Tat-Sachen" stands for the objects as well as for the facts and stories behind the cases on display. The exhibition illustrates the extent to which the understanding of justice and injustice was - and still is - subject to change over time.
