Echo chambers can be spaces in which themes that one has heard or experienced are not only reinforced, but can also become more precise. In the Echo Rooms display in the Kunsthaus, we would like to take up this idea and give space to questions of identity, ecology and the experience of nature, which are visible in the works in the exhibition on the lower floor and are more topical today than ever.
To this end, works by Sophia Al-Maria, Regina de Miguel and Dadi Wirz will be on display. In addition, another room has been set up where special educational formats will take place - also accessible to the public. Among other things, the seminar by Charlotte Matter from the University of Basel, Talk on Material and Sensuality with Eva Lootz, took place there with Ines Goldbach, Charlotte Matter and students from the art history department at the University of Basel.
