Regards sur... la Libération
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, the Musée Serret pays tribute to the armies of the Liberation, presenting a collection of objects and equipment from the soldiers' lives, which paint a portrait of the forces engaged in combat.

The intertwined destinies of those involved (soldiers, civilians, conscripts, resistance fighters, partisans, allies and enemies) are reflected in a large collection of outfits and equipment, insignia, means of communication, transmission, rationing, supplies...

The exhibition, which also bears witness to the difficult fighting and living conditions of the period, will enable visitors to recall certain aspects of the daily life of the main architects of victory. It will also serve as a reminder of the painful hours of occupation and the horrors of conscription.

Visible from April 25 to November 9, 2025, the exhibition is on show at the Musée Serret in Saint-Amarin, open Wednesday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm.
