In the latest prank by Grimmelshausen prize-winner Frank P. Meyer, Bernd and Wolfgang discover a 1963 VW van while clearing out Grandma Walli's shed. It soon turns out to be a legendary "terrorist bus", shrouded in myths and changes of ownership. Wolfgang in particular falls for the potential beauty of the find. During the restoration, they come across a discovery - and a fast-paced story takes off: A village novel and road novella at the same time, funny, full of energy and surprising.
