Themed tour for International Women's Day
In historiography, men are usually placed in the foreground. However, many women have also left their mark on history. The guided tour of the town museum on the occasion of International Women's Day presents a wide variety of female figures and stories and is also a journey through the history of the town and the region: starting with archaeological artifacts from a time without writing, through the fate of Anna Huck, the 17th century Rastatt landlady who was convicted of witchcraft, to the last margravine of Baden-Baden, Maria Viktoria, and women revolutionaries and artists in the 19th century.
