To celebrate European Heritage Days, we invite you to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of tango. More than just music or dance, tango is a living heritage. It originated in the late 19th century on the banks of the Río de la Plata, at the crossroads of local traditions, African rhythms, and the cultures of European immigrants.

The Silencio de Tango Quartet brings this fascinating history to life. From nostalgic classics of the golden age to the modern, daring sounds of tango nuevo, this concert traces the evolution of a genre that has conquered the entire world and has been inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
