Guided tour of the exhibition
From raw material to ice age art
Small works of art with a fascinating, modern appearance have come down to us from the Ice Age people of Europe. They show sculpted or stylized people as well as animals, some of which have long been extinct. The materials from which the works of art were created are also remarkable: Stone, clay, ivory, antler, amber and gagat. The archaeologist and archaeotechnician Dr. Michael Kaiser presents the raw materials and explains the special features associated with the production of Ice Age works of art.

Followed by a small drink, served by the Friends of the Museum.

Cost: 7 euros / reduced 5 euros.
