C'est la vie! Parisian bohemia. Albert Weisgerber, Hans Purrmann, Rudolf Großmann
Experience the magic and enchantment of Parisian bohemia! The guided tour takes you on a journey through the current special exhibition at the Museum Purrmann-Haus in Speyer. Immerse yourself in the fascinating atmosphere of the art metropolis and discover the light-flooded, colorful paintings by Hans Purrmann and Albert Weisgerber in an exciting dialogue with the expressive, dynamic drawings and prints by Rudolf Großmann. Freedom, inspiration, internationality and creativity characterized this period of Parisian bohemia. The cafés, variety theaters and the circus as well as street views and images of people in what was then the world's most important art metropolis were popular motifs for artists. The city was more than just a place. It harbored an artistic force that shaped biographies and produced works that are still moving today.
