Performance by Nalo Tschäni. Vocalized Insects

Performance von Nalo Tschäni. Vokalisierte Kerbtiere

We accompany an entomologist on his scientific journey through the Kunsthaus. Through sound, he explores the nature of a rhinoceros beetle, the reflections of a fur moth, and the body language of a red mite. In this way, the entomologist—as a foreign body within the natural system—can give a voice to the voiceless.

In cooperation with Kulturdünger, the Aargauer Kunsthaus offers young, local artists a platform to present ongoing or completed projects. Nalo Tschäni studies piano at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and, alongside his studies, creates experimental songs, films, and costumes in his artistic practice that tell stories of nature.

We’ll start together in the foyer and let the entomologist guide us through the rooms.
