Archaeological objects made to speak: Using various exhibits, we want to show how women's lives in Roman times can be made tangible.
What roles and tasks did women have, what was their perspective on life and what course was set by their social background? Which festivals and holidays were particularly relevant for women? Which women acted as role models in Roman times?
We experience very different images of women in the Roman world of the gods: some goddesses present themselves as martial and warlike, others as fickle or even rather good motherly...
