Joint Hanukkah celebration

Jüdischer Kerzenständer
This event is available in
German
We invite you to celebrate with the lighting of lights, Hanukkah songs, Wienerli and Sufganiot and celebrate (almost) like back then in the Charmille!
The Jewish festival of lights, Hanukkah, commemorates the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem in the 2nd century BC after its destruction. The eight-day festival is mainly celebrated with family and friends. And for once at the MUKS, which, together with the Israelite Community of Basel (IGB), invites you to celebrate with the lighting of lights, Hanukkah songs, Wienerli and sufganiot. In addition to information about the festival and anecdotes from the Charmille days, our tables with games also invite you to linger.

With Steffi Bollag (President of the ITUC Basel), Peter Bollag, members of the synagogue choir and the ITUC and Miriam Cohn (Head of Education and Mediation MUKS). For Jewish and non-Jewish people of all ages. The number of places is limited, registration is requested.
