A movie by Wim Wenders. Live music with Hary de Ville and team.
Wim Wenders' documentary offers a "unique and intimate look at the most exciting era of jazz". Wenders portrayed the jazz label Blue Note Records, which was founded by the two German emigrants Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff in 1939. Blue Note Records produced the music of world stars such as Miles Davies, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock and many others. It celebrated its 80th birthday in 2019.
