This event is available in
German
In Bauerngasse am Salmen, 12 graffiti with comic elements and art-historical quotations tell of various stages in the history of German democracy.

During this guided tour, we will take a look at the history of the pictures' creation, learn more about the artistic and technical aspects and about graffiti as a form of art and expression in public space.
The motifs of the murals offer the opportunity to take a closer look at individual stages in the history of democracy - from the French Revolution to the 1968 movement.

At the end of the tour, the Salmen invites all participants to enjoy a refreshing summer drink.

With Maximilian Schleyer from the Offenburg Cultural Office, who was artistically and organizationally involved in the murals in 2011.
The guided tour is part of the event series DORT - Thursdays in the Ortenau.
