From Roman girl to matron
The tour is all about women in ancient Rome. How was the life of a free-born Roman girl shaped and what made her a matron, a "perfect" wife? Social concepts of female appearance such as cosmetics and fashion played a major role in this. With archaeologist Pia Micheel, participants follow the career of a Roman woman: from family expectations to social positions.
