As a young, learned and independent woman, Amalie Struve belonged to a minority. Not many of her generation were as fortunate as she was to have such good starting conditions. But she was not satisfied, because something crucial was missing: equality and freedom for all members of society. She fought for this in the 1848-49 revolution and beyond.

Who was this woman who risked her good social position and became a revolutionary?
This short tour provides the answers!
