The advertising pillar in front of the Salmen can be seen from afar. However, the pillar is not a classic advertising space, but a work of art by the artist Moritz Götze from Halle an der Saale. The colorful enamel panels are reminiscent of advertising posters, but they do not show advertising, but various historical events and symbols that are also associated with the Salmen. Why an advertising pillar of all things? Why enamel? And what is an artist from Halle doing in Offenburg?

In this cultural break, you will learn more about the artwork and gain an insight into the background to the individual motifs.
