Citron Citron and möf
Saturday, September 14, 7 p.m.
Location: Rehmann Museum

Intimate electronic pop by Citron Citron (Geneva) and supporting program with improvised ambient melodies and soundscapes by möf (Zurich).

Citron Citron (Geneva) are two siblings from Geneva with transcendent pop songs and synthetic soundscapes in their luggage. They skillfully combine voice, violin, synthesizer, guitar and drum computer in an infinite spherical echo. Transcendent refrains and synthetic choruses are coupled with romantic melodies and underlaid with groovebox-appeal rhythms.

Their album Chagrin bleu (Bongo Joe Records 2022) explores nocturnal melancholy and the joy of gliding under the sun. An album on the border between chamber pop, medieval chants and ambient. The lyrics are at times poetic, venereal or dreamy.

Möf (Zurich)

In Fabian Mösch's solo project möf, the clarinet is the main component, which he alienates and distorts using various devices. He explores the possibilities and limits of the instrument and creates unique, booming walls of sound. From improvised melodies, a subtle, captivating world of sound emerges that stretches on forever. Fabian Mösch always questions music in terms of its meaning, the reason for its creation and the "more" to it: we can look forward to his music that goes beyond this.
