The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart is presenting the major state exhibition "Katharina Grosse - The Sprayed Dear" in the art building on Schlossplatz. In the domed hall with the golden stag, three specially created works will be on display alongside sculptural works from Katharina Grosse's early oeuvre that have never been shown before. With the title "The Sprayed Dear", the artist refers to the landmark of the extraordinary exhibition venue and plays with the English word 'deer' for 'stag' - and the English term 'dear' for something cherished. Hendrik Bündge, curator of the exhibition, gives an insight into the conception of the exhibition and shows its implementation using selected installation views of the show.
