One museum, two locations: The Reutlingen Art Museum presents exhibitions covering woodcuts, letterpress printing, concrete art, and international art across more than 2,000 square meters at two centrally located venues—the half-timbered Spendhaus building and the former Wandel-Hallen metal sheet factory.
We are one of the largest municipal institutions for modern and contemporary art in southwestern Germany. We see ourselves as a vibrant cultural institution that is firmly anchored in the social life of the city of Reutlingen and whose mission extends beyond our own exhibition and collection spaces. A museum thrives with and through its visitors, which is why the Kunstmuseum Reutlingen has focused on art education for many years.
