Museum der Alltagskultur - Schloss Waldenbuch

The Museum of Everyday Culture in the Schloss Waldenbuch is one of the most important folklore museums in the German speaking countries. It presents the change of lifestyles and perspectives in an impressive way and includes personal life stories in an exhibition space of 2500 square meters.

ZeitSprünge: The Museum of Everyday Culture focuses with its three-year modernisation period on a stronger emphasis on the present and more dialogues with visitors. One of the highlights, in the lobby of the castle, is the installation “ZeitSprünge”, an experimental contrast of 20 historical objects with their contemporary exemplars. The latest innovation in the lobby is the “Dialogue Station” where visitors can showcase their favourite everyday objects.
