More precisely, vibrators, because "Why not? 150+ years of vibrators, sex & taboos" takes visitors on an exciting tour through over 150 years of cultural history of the massager, from medicine and cosmetics to art and eroticism.
Visitors are taken on an entertaining journey through the history of vibrators. Included: dolphin-shaped dildos, media milestones of masturbation, disenchanted clitoris myths and even art installations. Ancient devices tell of the (super)belief in the healing power of the first
vibrators against rheumatism, double chins and wrinkles, when anything overtly sexual was still "immoral".
