"What does that have to do with me?"
The multimedia exhibition on Mannheim's Nazi era
The multimedia and interactive exhibition "What does that have to do with me?" in the MARCHIVUM recounts the historical developments in Mannheim during the Nazi dictatorship. At the same time, it broadens the perspective to the before and after and takes a look at the fates of victims and perpetrators alike.
In various rooms, starting with the Weimar Republic and continuing through individual aspects of the Nazi period to the present day, the exhibition poses questions about how and why we approach our own history. It aims to develop an understanding of the fact that our free democratic basic order cannot be taken for granted.
