The Langmatt celebrates the return of the paintings to the newly renovated museum with the exhibition «Welcome back».
After a successful European tour that included stops in Lausanne, Cologne and Vienna, the impressionist masterpieces return to the Langmatt. In the carefully renovated rooms, they allow the Langmatt to shine in new splendor. Restored historical furniture, carpets and crystal chandeliers contribute to the incomparable atmosphere.

The public will finally have the opportunity to see Sidney and Jenny Brown's unique collection again, which includes famous Impressionist names such as Cézanne, Degas, Gauguin, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir and Sisley. The overwhelming and surprisingly prominent media response to the exhibition tour impressively confirms the international standing of the collection: the Langmatt is undisputedly one of the most important private collections of French Impressionism in Europe.
